An Hermana session is perfect for someone who:

​1) wants support and information quickly but doesn't have the time or energy to seek out a doula yet  

2) is late into postpartum and her doula and midwife/doctor appointments have ended, but still has questions or concerns

3) has gone through a difficult procreative experience (such as miscarriage) and needs to talk through it as soon as possible with a knowledgable and experienced support person

Does a Perinatal Hermana replace a doula?

Absolutely not! In fact, a Perinatal Hermana is a great a stepping stone, guiding you on how to find other perinatal professionals that are the right fit for you. I also inform you about the wide variety of resources available to you:

What are Perinatal Hermana sessions like?

During your session I am there to: 

*Hear your story

*Offer emotional support and information 

*Normalize the wide range of feelings and experiences

*Be a bridge to resources

*Answer your burning questions (non-medical)

*Assist you as you vision for your future 

 

Your session can be either either by phone or virtual.

How soon can I have my free initial phone consultation?

Usually within days, sometimes within 24 hours of the request.

How soon can I get a Perinatal Hermana session?

Usually within a week, sometimes sooner in certain circumstances.

How much does a session cost?

$50 per session.​

​

How many sessions would I have?

As few or as many as you want. You may need only the free initial phone consultation. Or you may need one or several sessions.  It's up to you!
